Designated Grower Program

The mission of the MCCG's Designated Grower (DG) Program is to address the lack of a quality supply of medical cannabis in Guelph from Health Canada. Through the DG program, the MCCG aims to move medical cannabis cultivation from a residential setting (as Health Canada promotes) to an industrial and/or farm setting. The MCCG believes that this direction is best for the City of Guelph from a community planning and zoning standpoint.

The MCCG's DG program connects Health Canada Licensed Patients with cannabis cultivators.
The cultivators have agreed to charge a labour fee of $150/28 grams of raw cannabis cultivated for the patient.

If your doctor has prescribed medical cannabis for your condition, but is reluctant to sign Health Canada forms, please contact the MCCG. We now have doctors that are willing to take patient referrals and sign Health Canada forms.
